Nomads are always wandering. They go from place to place. Always searching for new food for their animals. Their tents are decorated with selfmade carpets. Those are a result of their own minds and present scenes of their everyday life. Sometimes the carpets are used to cover the floor, sometimes as blankets and sometimes as curtains.
Nomadic carpets are made of sheep wool from the own breeds and are coloured with vegetable dyes. Therefore, the colours may vary, what doesn’t mean that the quality varies. Sometimes the patterns appear random. This is also a characteristic of these carpets. The carpets, reflecting the mind of their knotter, are characterized by that.
